James C. Onorato

President

Prior to founding Summit Capital, Mr. Onorato served as Portfolio manager with Maxus Investment Group, Cleveland, Ohio. During his 14 years at Maxus, he also conducted equity research for the firm’s individual accounts and mutual funds, and developed a strength in identifying effective fund management. Mr. Onorato began his investment career in 1982 at Dean Witter as an investment consultant.

Mr. Onorato holds a BS/BA from The Ohio State University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Cleveland State University.

David M Yormick

Vice President

Mr. Yormick has 25 years of experience in the financial industry and started his career in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Summit Capital, Mr. Yormick spent 7 years with Morgan Stanley before founding his own independent firm in 2003.

He has a B.S. in Finance and French from Canisius College and an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from John Carroll University. He is an active volunteer in his community and is the Head Rowing Coach at Beaumont School.

Gary E. Friedman

Financial Advisor

Mr. Friedman graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration and a major in Accounting.

Mr. Friedman has worked in financial services since 1987, helping individuals and small businesses plan to meet their financial goals. He currently holds an investment advisor representative (IAR) and series 65 licenses while specializing in investment management and retirement planning.

Regina M. Ryan

Financial Advisor

Ms. Ryan has over 30 years of investment business expertise. She started at Maxus Securities with Mr. Onorato. She has been an investment consultant with Fifth Third Securities and then Ancora Securities.

Ms. Ryan graduated with a BS/BA degrees from the University of Dayton and a Masters degree from the University of Evansville in Administration. She has been active in many professional, educational and community organizations throughout her career.

Susan Johnson

Client Services

Ms. Johnson graduated from Kenyon College with a B.A. degree in Anthropology. She also holds a Paralegal Certificate in Litigation Management from the Philadelphia Institute for Paralegal Training. She started her career as an Administrative Assistant at Ancora Advisors. She has worked in the investment advisory industry for 13 years servicing client accounts.
